Locanda del Gallo

Locanda del Gallo (The Cockerel Inn) is situated high in the mountains between Gubbio and Perugia, and just behind the Antognolla Golf Course. Its location provides breathtaking views across the Tiber Valley as it is prominently situated on a ridge which stretches into the centre of the valley. This agriturismo has 28 hectares of garden, terraced lawns and woodland and boasts a stunning infinity pool. There are 10 en-suite rooms all of which have a different feel and are decorated with care and attention.

The 12th Century country house is a retreat from the everyday stresses of life, the rooms are kept cool with the natural breezes and guests are entertained by the nature and views of their surroundings. There are courses available at the agriturismo in cooking and, just a couple of minutes away, in weaving (see Casa La Valle).
